Why journey is better than destination? Can this be the reason?

| Success it what we live for, whether it be for mind, heart or soul. -Vaibhav Bhatia |
As you might have noticed we assume, imagine,
dream or fantasize about our destination. Whether your destination is
securing highest marks, getting married, buying your favorite car or
gaming setup. It can be anything but whatever it may be, if it is the
destination we are seeking then for sure we might be thinking about it
in our head most of the time. So, it might be possible that we have
already experienced being at the destination in our head before living
it in the reality and we know that doing the same thing twice is not as
much fun as doing it the first time. If we believe it then it is
possible that we contradict the fact the imagination is limited to
experience and knowledge. I don't have a valid proof this statement but I
can give you an example which supports this. Suppose you have to
design a new system, it might be a new software component if you are a
software developer, it might be a new machine which is better in terms
or throughput or just outer design, it might be a new sketch or a
sculpture if you are an artist, it might be new animation if you are an
animator, it might be your new video project if you are a video editor ,
what I mean is it might be anything but don't you think it might be a
better design if you have knowledge in your field. Will it? think about
it, take your time..
According to me it should be, that is why
currently I am working on to gain knowledge instead of directly jumping
on making new thing. That is why an artist always says (may be not
always :p) to first try to copy what others have done if your are a
beginner to learn then move onto making your own art. So if this is true
that imagination is limited to knowledge then the destination should be
better then the journey even if we consider that we have experienced it
in our head. So what can be the reason behind this? We all know this,
we feel this but nobody knows the reason behind it. We know that each
step we take towards our destination brings us happiness while the
success, the destination brings us satisfaction. Do you think you know
why is it said, think about it tell me your opinion, your thought. I
might be wrong, you might be right.

So Is it what this blog was all about?
When
I first started writing, I knew what I was going to write but now I
don't. So, I will just write what I think can be true. First imagine you
are working hard, saving money to buy your favorite car. The car with
sleek carbon fiber body, with your favorite color, limited edition, will
best engine in the market, the leathery soft seats, perfect modular
interior, best quality speakers. Now answer me this, did you start
imagining it? If this car, that you imagined, is given to you after you
work hard for a year, will you feel same happiness you had while worked
for it, while you imagined having it? At least I will not. This may be
harsh but it is possible that we love to work for our goal because we
want to feel the satisfaction that we will have when we attain it. But
that want, to feel satisfaction is now gone because you already had it.
Before attaining that goal, we start to think deep in our mind about how
will that satisfaction feel and that urge to feel satisfaction is what
we work for. It might be just me who thought like this but as someone
said-
